Perimenopause and Menopause: Making it Suck Less.

Before making Gal Pals Gummies' formulas, we conducted a lot of research about "The Pauses" with women across the country. The overwhelming feedback? "Just make it STOP!!" As a 61 one year old gal, I completely understand that sentiment!
No one yet has found a cure to The Pauses and their many symptoms but we can take action to try to control the symptoms. I am not a doctor and am not delivering medical advice. Instead, I'd like to share my first hand experience with The Pauses and what I've done to feel better.
First and foremost, I had to tackle out of the blue rage, anxiety and occasional depression. My menopause mood swings could fill a playground. Selfishly, I made the Chill Out formula specifically for me. I needed relief and balance while remaining in control. The extra CBD stabilizes my mood and helps with my joint pain. The low dose of THC helps calm my mind. Without Chill Out, I could be serving hard time in the big house. (Kidding). Seriously, it's been a game changer for me. Whether you choose Gal Pals or another brand, find a low dose natural hemp gummy with lots of CBD.
At 55, sleep became an issue for me for the first time in my life. I tried Ambien and began sleep walking (one time into a forest in Northern Wisconsin when I was at a family vacation). Melatonin made me feel fuzzy and my sleep wasn't restful. Hemp gummies are my go to. I get a good night's sleep and wake up feeling great. CBN is the part of the hemp plant that has been associated with helping to promote sleep. Our Nighty Night formula has extra CBN and CBD. We've received a great response from customers who have tried it. Sheryl in Michigan told me, "I didn't know I could sleep this well!" It made our day!
Dozens of women in our research said they had lost their sex drives. Thank goodness for CBG! I like to say that CBG is the Energizer Bunny of the hemp plant. It's taken my nearly dead libido and made me feel great about intimacy again. It's also terrific for a night out when I want to feel energized instead of tired and dragging.
Outside of my gummy regiment, I meditate daily. I use a free mediation app, Insight Timer. The guided meditations are really helpful for me. I find they help me to keep perspective and to remain in balance. When I don't feel I can sit still I do the walking meditations. The Yoga Nidra meditations for sleep are amazing! I highly recommend them.
Another menopause hack: I try to exercise every morning before work, even if just for 20 minutes. Getting my blood flowing first thing in the morning has helped my body, mind and spirit. Nature plays a key role in my practice, too. I make a point to get into nature at least 3
times a week when weather permits.
Lastly, I make sure I connect with my friends on a regular basis. Feeling less alone makes the journey a great deal more tolerable.
You deserve to feel great! Here's hoping you find what works best for you.
Sarah
